Pyrolytic boron nitride crucible is synthesized on the mold using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology at high temperature and low pressure using BCl3 and NH3. All boron nitride crystals grow parallel to the vapor surface. PBN products have extremely high purity, and the purity of gas raw materials is easier to control. Typically, PBN products have total impurities <100 ppm, which means the purity is no less than 99.99%. With such high purity levels, PBN crucibles are ideal products for the semiconductor industry.

Due to its high density and purity, PBN is becoming a widely used material in vacuum processes. The CVD process gives this pyrolytic boron nitride a nearly perfect layered structure, resulting in anisotropic thermal conductivity, making it an ideal material for manufacturing crystal growth crucibles. PBN is the main material for manufacturing gallium arsenide crystal production crucibles.

Due to the nature of the CVD process, the most common wall thickness for PBN crucibles is 0.8~1.5mm. We offer customized PBN crucibles and VGF/LEC/Tapered/MBE/OLED crucibles.

Packing
