Pyrolytic Boron Nitride Sheet and other pyrolytic boron nitride products are synthesized on the mold by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process, with BCl3 and NH3 at high temperature and low pressure. PBN products are extremely pure, as the purity of gas material is easier to control. Typically, PBN products have a total impurity of <100 ppm, which means the purity is no less than 99.99%. With such a high purity level, PBN Sheets are ideal products for semiconductor industries & vacuum systems.

PBN combines high electrical resistance and thermal conductivity, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring superior strength, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and resistance to thermal shock. Non-hazardous, non-porous, and extremely pure, PBN can be used as a coating or deposit on graphite and then easily processed into 2D or 3D shapes for use as crucibles, boats, plates, wafers, tubes, and bottles. Known for its directional thermal conductivity and ability to provide optimal heat dissipation, PBN exhibits greater temperature stability at temperatures up to 1700°C, can resist thermal shock, and when coated on graphite, protects against corrosive atmospheres, including most molten metals (aluminum, silver, copper, Ga, Ge, Sn, etc.), acids and hot ammonia environments.
