Molybdenum-lanthanum alloy (Mo-La alloy) is a type of Moly-REO alloy (Molybdenum-rare Earth Oxide), also known as rare earth molybdenum, lanthanum-doped molybdenum, and La2O3-doped molybdenum. Molybdenum-lanthanum alloy (Mo-La alloy) is an oxide dispersion-strengthened alloy.

Rare earth doped molybdenum products have higher recrystallization temperatures than pure molybdenum and generally exhibit better ductility properties after recrystallization. The recrystallization temperature of Mo-La alloy is higher than 1500 degrees Celsius.

Can be used in lighting, electric vacuum devices, tube components in cathode ray tubes, power semiconductor devices, tools for manufacturing glass and fiberglass, internal parts of light bulbs, high temperature heat shields, annealed filaments, and electrodes, containers in high-temperature microwave magnetrons and parts.

Edgetech’s Mo-La products are produced through our powder metallurgy process using pure molybdenum oxide as the starting raw material, which is then doped with lanthanum.
