The manufacturing process of molybdenum boats can be divided into two types. 

One is the stamping method. The characteristics of this method are that it requires a mold, the wall thickness is relatively thin, and the raw material is a molybdenum sheet or molybdenum thin film. Suitable for making small-sized evaporation boats. The other is made by folding and welding molybdenum plates. This method does not require a mold and the size of the boat can be larger.

We offer molybdenum boats produced in two ways, but folded molybdenum boats are our main product.

Folding Molybdenum boats are made of molybdenum plates through cutting, folding, riveting, welding, etc. The shape of the molybdenum boat can be formed according to needs, including round, rectangular, square, trapezoid, etc. Thermal evaporation (resistance evaporation) is a coating method used in physical vapor deposition. The materials from which subsequent layers are formed are heated in a vacuum chamber until they evaporate. The vapor formed by the material condenses on the substrate, forming the desired layer.

Application of molybdenum boat:

Molybdenum boats can be used in vacuum thermal evaporation of air, capacitor sintering, nuclear fuel sintering, and rare earth industry. It can also be used as related components for carrier ships and mechanical high-temperature furnaces.
