 Pure molybdenum possesses unique properties that are suitable for use in several applications and industries. It may be most well-known for its high melting point, 2620 °C, however, its usefulness is driven by its performance in high temperatures and corrosive environments:

Molybdenum Foil Application

-Semiconductor industry: Moly foil is often used in thin film deposition processes in semiconductor manufacturing to prepare thin film components such as metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs).

-Electronics: Due to its high melting point and thermal conductivity, mo foil is used as a heat sink in many electronic devices, helping to maintain device performance at high temperatures.

– Laboratory research: Moly foils are used in laboratories for a variety of research and experimental purposes, including optical research, thin film experiments, and other experiments that require high-temperature and high-density materials.

-Vacuum equipment: Since mo foil has a high melting point and corrosion resistance, it is used in the manufacturing of vacuum equipment and vacuum accessories to ensure the stability of the equipment under high temperatures and vacuum conditions.

-Thermal barrier coating: Moly foil is sometimes used to prepare thermal barrier coatings in high-temperature environments to provide high-temperature insulation.

Packaging for our molybdenum foil

Our Molybdenum foils are carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition. The standard package for foil is a wooden crate so that the products can be protected during handling and transportation.
