Molybdenum description

Molybdenum retains its strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, making it an excellent material choice for industrial vacuum furnace heating elements, racks, and hardware. The maximum operating temperature of molybdenum is approximately 1900°C. At higher temperatures, tungsten is recommended. Molybdenum’s excellent high-temperature properties and its ability to withstand aggressive glass melts make it a suitable material for electrodes and molten glass stirrers in glass melting applications.
