Molybdenum wire is resistant to high temperatures and corrosion and is used as heating material for high-temperature resistance furnaces and cutting wire for EDM. Molybdenum wire has good conductivity and can also be used in electron tube sockets, incandescent lamp bracket filaments, halogen lamps, and discharge tube seals. Materials, leads, mandrels for tungsten wire, grids, etc. Also used as cathode and spray material.

Pure molybdenum wire products are also used in most standard applications for the production of mandrels, brackets, furnace elements, furnace windings, and formed parts.

MoLa is a doped product with a higher recrystallization temperature. At diameters below 0.090 inches, they exhibit greater ductility after recrystallization. These products offer excellent solderability and glass-to-metal sealing properties for use in more demanding applications such as halogen lamp leads.

We also provide TZM alloy wire, which is widely used in thermal spraying.

Our molybdenum wire is produced by rolling and swaging molybdenum rods to about 3mm and then stretching them to various diameters.
